Kanojo, Okarishimasu

But number 14 is The Shunji Family Children.

This came from the same person who brought us Rent-A-Girlfriend, which surprisingly-

Oh my God

... spoilers for this list, didn't make it on the list because I actually kinda liked the first season of Rent-A-Girlfriend.

That's all I ever watched.

Yeah, the first season does have some sauce to it.

Like, yo, this is absurd, bro.

But no, bro.

Rental girlfriends are actual cancer, though.

Oh, yeah.

Like, bro.

Okay.

I hate Rent-A-Girlfriend-

This is for me

...

How did you c- is What was going through your mind when you saw all of these s- second season sequels coming up?

Um, it always tends to put me in a place of frustration because I think about projects that are getting their second season, and then I think about all the shows that I love that haven't had their second season, and it makes me pissed 'cause I'm just thinking to myself, [inhales] how the hell is Rent-A-Girlfriend coming up on its fifth season and I can't get season two of show X? And it just makes me furious 'cause it's just, I don't understand the rationale, especially if you just look at popularity and things like that.

And then I also think about numbers games, and I'm like, "Okay, I guess this particular show doesn't have enough waifus.

They can't market it the same." Whereas Rent-A-Girlfriend is pretty much a harem waifu show, and all they do is make body pillows and figurines, and [inhales] people just buy them up left and right.

And I'm just sitting here waiting, waiting patiently.

And we will go through our personal lists of our season two favorites.

It has 12 light novels, of which only the first four have been adapted, so there's more than enough material to keep going.

And if people wanna complain about marketability, you have cool robot tanks, you have top tier waifus to include, uh, you know, Major Milize.

I'm going to do a rare thing, a show first.

I'm going to defend Rent-A-Girlfriend anime, which is going to sound

weird, but I know this is

going to sound out of

on

now.

Besides the writing, which I shit on all the time, okay? The anime of Rent-A-Girlfriend begrudgingly, through gritted teeth, like, god damn it.

It's well produced.

Yeah, no, like, uh, the show definitely-

People are gonna be like, "It's no Rent-A-Girlfriend." And I'm like, "That's, that's not-"

But I mean, in fairness they're not together in that show really, [laughs] so-

Yeah

in that's worse.

Well, yeah.

The, the pacing in Rent-A-Girlfriend is certainly worse.

Uh, but, like, that, that's just a bad benchmark.

... for fight scenes.

Uh, for overhyped, you put Rent-A-Girlfriend.

[laughs] Okay, now we get into, now we get into spicy territory.

We get into spicy territory now.

We are getting into spicy territory.

So overhyped, I did put Rent-A-Girlfriend.

Do you really think it's overhyped?

I think-
