The body of a woman has been found inside an industrial bin at the bottom of a chute at an apartment complex in Kangaroo Point.

in Brisbane, sparking a major investigation.

It's understood garbage contractors located the body when emptying the bin at the complex.

One of the line of inquiries police are looking at is whether the woman fell into the trash chute.

The other line, of course, is whether the death was suspicious.

It's understood the woman was a resident at the apartment complex in Kangaroo Point.

The police remained on the scene this morning.

So you, what, left TI, went to the mainland, done your schooling, end up in university to study law?

Yeah, I left, I left TI to go to, yeah, I went to Brizzy and did, back then there was an old TAFE there, you know, at Gardens, Kangaroo Point, yeah, so I was there with them and did justice, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice studies.

At that time, I wanted to get a job back in the Torres Strait, so to get a job, I thought, you know, on the boats, back in the Torres Strait, customs, I thought, because customs had boats, they're border force now, but used to be customs boats.

And so I went and did this diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander justice studies to be able to apply for customs.

But I was only very young.

I was like 17, turning 18.

I think I had my first legal drink at the Pineapple there at Kangaroo Point, down the road from that campus.

Yeah.

That's the first out and back.

We trace all the steps back to the start line, head across Story Bridge, along Kangaroo Point until Wollongabba.

That's the second out and back.

I cross the story bridge again, then it's a big semi-circle around new farm all the way to Hamilton and then out to the industrial area of Hamilton.

And I do like on that bit that you're not coming back against the grain of runners.

You kind of go a separate route.

yeah you got a clear path there the city that's a good start finish point easy to get to from the train other public transport that will hopefully be running on the day i assume it will be and i think kangaroo point could be quite nice but

that's where the hills come in i imagine

very generously he said no problem and gave me a big hug at the jetty to jetty and he's coming up and donating his time to us so we're very appreciative for him and so many other people as well who've donated their time and there'll be a lovely coffee cart Mulberry Coffee will be there who donated his time for our launch all the way from Kangaroo Point to Redcliffe so it's really humble how people are really getting on board and the man walk as well.
