Well, so the album I'm working on right now is, um, there's a lot of old sounding, uh, It was originally going to be kind of throwback-y, like 50s sounding.

One song kind of has an Eagles vibe to it.

I'm just saying references from other people said that that's what it sounds like.

But just kind of old school.

And then we were gonna do some music videos that were short films to them.

I did not know that.

It's like, how do I create adversity? And she's like, it's not born yet.

And so we just shot a music video for Woman.

And so my kids, when we go to Disney, when we go, they don't have to wait in lines.

They get the VIP treatment.

They go to the back.

They get to hop right on the ride.

Specifically song-wise, you mentioned it earlier, but tell me about Woman.

How have you had to process throughout your entire life being someone that felt like an outsider pretty much in every space you was in?

Well, for me, I feel like everything kinda works out, uh, how it's supposed to.

But I moved around a lot, so I've always had to fit in places.

So i- I got real used to having to kind of, you know, adapt.

So for me, you know, even getting into country music, I kind of used that to my advantage.

So whenever I went viral, I went viral on social media.

So the first time I went viral everybody thought I was gonna be a rapper, and then I sta- I was singing a Chris Young song, which kinda I guess helped me get my start, 'cause it just surprised people.

What is it like to have Kanes on Broadway, Kane Brown? Like, like, how dope is that, man?

What is the secret to balancing life on the road?

It is tough.

I will say my daughter the other day, she said, Dad, you work a lot.

And that killed me.

Me and Jordan have become just really good buddies, and anytime I do award shows, like it's always fun to do it by yourself, but there's just like this pressure that just gets yanked off of you when you do it with a, with a really good friend, you know? Um, and so a couple weeks ago, me and Jordan, we had a number one song together with this song like five or six weeks ago, and then literally played it for the first time together in Nashville at Odie's Bar like three weeks ago.

We just did rehearsal, and it just came out so naturally, and, um, just a couple guys singing a song, man.

I just think some people didn't know she could sing until-

Yeah, I don't think she had a problem with that.

She was, she was nervous to get in the studio because she hadn't been in the studio for so long, and then, and then when we did get in the studio, it was just me, her, and Dan, uh, Huff, which is a massive producer.

Um, but such a sweetheart, so he really got her through it.

But I think that was the only thing she was nervous about.

She's m-she's more nervous of perf-- just the performance on stage 'cause she has really bad anxiety.

Um, so it's, it's really sweet, but it's funny 'cause a lot of times people will be like, "God, they have such good chemistry on stage," and she's just holding on to me so she doesn't pass out.

I just wanted all the, the numbers, you know, as many as possible, and then once you get to a certain point of you being Kane Brown or you being whoever, and then you start seeing negative stuff, it's like, I just got off social media for a while during the COVID days, 'cause that's when social media started getting crazy.
