I love flying in Kanata.

Yeah, we're out in, it's got a community called Brookline.

It's in Kanata North.

Beautiful new development out there.

They only have so many tournaments they can participate in.

And then you can imagine the teams coming from further away, need to know where they're going and plan out their budgets and, and, If they're traveling from other countries and the other side of the world, it's a bigger deal for them than if they're just driving in from Orleans or Kanata or what have you.

So they start looking at it back then, but now the House League teams are coming together and they're going to be doing their sort-outs and managers are starting to register the House League teams.

So we'll put up the 300-some-odd teams this year.

So they all start somewhere, right? And we got a lot of them that come right through Ottawa every year at the holiday time.

There's also been star power like off the ice as well.

I can remember doing a show at the Pro Hockey Life in Kanata years ago, just doing a regular sports show during the tournament.

And it's packed with kids.

How many of you know that to redeem us, God always goes first? You say, well, what about question two? Did Jesus practice what he preached? Well, that's going to be the next seven weeks together between now to December.

Now, the Huron, the Huron's one of the tribes, uh, along, the Huron and the Erie are two of the tribes that lived along the lake shore.

And Lake Ontario, which that would be what it was called in Wyandot, and in the Huron language, it was called Lake Kanata Io.

And so Lake Kanata, K-A-N-A-T-A, Lake Kanata Rio, or Lake Ontario, those are the two first words that were taught to the French settlers, and that's why they called the lake Ontario, and they called the land Kanada, or Canada.

So I mean, of all the things to rename, you're gonna rename the fucking lake that is the very namesake for Canada and the entire Great Lakes? Because Ontario or Kanata, Canada Rio, is Huron or Wyandot language for lake that is shiny.

Shiny lake.

The game, games are seven innings long.

Uh, to eliminate a team that had been their nemesis for a couple of years, uh, from Kanata, in O- near Ottawa, had been their nemesis, and they beat them 6-7 in the semifinal.

And then it was a bit of a walk in the final.

They beat Woodstock 10-3, which was sorta neat.
