Kamurochō

This is kind of the city is theirs.

They already took over Kamurocho.

We know that they're super efficient.

They're going to be taken over Ijincho very soon.

I love that this is like a generational game.

I feel like generational family game.

Remember when you were in one of the previous chapters, we were hearing about the legendary, the Yakuza legends, and they show that screenshot of Kamurocho with like three people in the distance.

Those three people are Majima, Taiga, and... and Diego and they of course left one out because he'll come up later but it's like those three are the ones who like walked off into the sunset and now we're about to get like the full story of what happened between the sixth game Song of Life and now And, uh, it's going to be our cow tells us because we go to the dragon chamber and actually sit down with the six chairman who then lays out basically what's happened to this point.

Um, and then snipers, archers.

I just got to Japan last night in the story, and the part of Japan they send you to is the same part of Japan that Kamurocho from Yakuza is based on.

Even the entry sign to the main street in Kamurocho, like, the first, the, the minute they give you control in Japan, that's where you are.

And buddy, it got-

So as much as this is a soft reboot, we, we're not leaving.

We are still in Kamurocho.

Cool.

We still have the Tojo.

He gets out in 2007.

He puts on a smile, calling out for an Ichi, but he's let down by his captain, Jo Sawashiro, who tells him that he sent Ichi out for collections.

New Year's isn't a holiday in Kamurocho.

He pulls a wad of cash from the machine, wrapping it with a rubber band, musing how money doesn't sleep.

And there's a, there's a part where you're, like, in Japan at night, and you're walking down the str- like the kind of, uh, Kamurocho-style street in a leather trench coat, uh, in, in a leather jacket.

And I was like, maybe this should've just been the whole game.

Like, maybe it should've just been, like, Logan on his adventures in Tokyo.

[laughs]

Which that place is still in Kamurocho, and you can walk down the stairs, but you can't walk in.

That's fine.

I don't need to go in that sad place.

There are so many things that are like, it's on a different engine.

Kamurocho looks so good.

So good.

The level up tree is completely different from Kiwami 1, which I like a lot more.

Anyway, uh, Linoloki-kun gives $2 and says, "Is GTA American Yakuza with so many things to do? GTA would never have a sandbox as small as, uh, what Yakuza has."

Kamurocho.

Which I wish it did.
