Kalonymus Kalman Shapira

Um, and this is from a rabbi, Kalonymus Kalman Shapira, in a book, Derech Hamelech, and he was killed, unfortunately, by the Nazis.

[sighs] So he talks about how to quiet one's mind, because we know the mind is never still.

The mind just keeps on going.

How do you pause your brain? For then it receives to some extent divine inspiration in the measure as it is predisposed for this influence.

This is the nature of those dreams which prove true, and also prophecy, the difference being of, of quantity, not of quality.

The rabbis say a dream is how much? One-sixtieth of prophecy.

They don't say it's a lesser quality.

His name was Rav Klonimus Kalman Shapira.

Kalman or Kalmish was his nickname.

Rav Kolonimus Kalman Shapira.

And he was a magnet for Hasidim, for families, but primarily for boys, for students, for high school students all across Poland.
