Kalapana

Oh, my God.

I mean, when you think of Kalapana, I mean, like, naturally to you, right? I mean, that's a staple, right? That's a staple, but, I mean, when you think about how good that song is, like, with the strings and all that, like, whoever produced that, I mean, I just think as someone who's produced music, like, Where did they get these ideas?

That's because I think the albums themselves are timeless.

And they don't sound like anything else.

I have not...

To this day, I don't think I've... heard

an album that reminds me of Kalapana One, right?

And it's not just because it's what we grew up with, but because the music itself was so very different.

We also get to feature all different artists from, you know, the on-the-rise like you mentioned, to the legends.

I mean, we got the songs of C&K, uh, Kalapana, Jerry Santos, and then the on-the-rise artists like Kosuke will be joining as well.

And so it's gonna be a big party.

Last year we had a great time at the Alohilani Hotel.

...

In the Key of Aloha as well.

Yes, I'll be performing with Kalapana.

We're gonna be doing Night Bird, so I'm really excited to do that.
