So yeah.

So from Gesusu, I went, uh, to, uh, Kakamega for secondary school.

High school?

And part...

Mm.

And then after that-

Did you play football or rugby in Kakamega? Which was the big-

Football.

Uh, Kakamega branch or which one?

Nairobi.

[laughs]

First term, schooling, schooling, schooling, Sunday to Sunday, Sunday to-- Second term, third term, now we are doing KCPE.

After finishing my last paper, that day, my first stop was in Kakamega.

DJ Kalonge, DJ John of Homeboyz were coming to Kakamega, Masinde Muliro.

When my crew saw me, they said, "The guy is back."

[laughs]

I don't have even a single cent." They changa, changa, contribute, contribute, contribute.

"Contributini for Mweshima so that he goes back home." 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 500.

From Kakamega to Kisumu by then was 100 bob, so I still have 400.

There are lots of agencies like is it St. John Ambulance and Ambulances, there's the Red Cross, there's the E-Plus.

And to be honest, I'm going to mention this because we also participated in a rotation in Kakamega where Masinde Moliro is.

Allegedly, the E-Plus or the ambulances in the Kenyan Red Cross in Kakamega were like kind of were kind of shut down.

So we couldn't continue with our rotations as well.

Noting that they were all transitioned to Nairobi since there was also the Olympics that was happening.

I've really witnessed it a lot when I'm birding.

I mean, I used a sound recording that was used on the app a long time ago, maybe for a bird in Kakamega, which is a similar bird species in the coast.

I found that if the call was recorded in the coast, and you play the same sound in the coast, the birds in the coast will respond.

But if you play the same sound in the Kakamega, the birds in Kakamega, even though it's the same species, it runs away because they're like, that's not me.

That's not one of us.

So by doing this sound recording and putting them in their rightful locations, It's giving us a big thing to learn also as scientists, as researchers, also help us as guides to really understand birds and birding in general.

Let me use, use a familiar example so that we understand.

When our father in the Lord was going to Kakamega, he rounded up a few of the leaders there and told them that, "I want to come to Kakamega." Um, we had been to other counties.

Budget comes, it's quite high.

He says, "I can't work with this budget.

Then they tell him, "If we don't help you, this thing is not happening." And I remember that period when he had just come back because he had gone to talk to the leaders first before coming back and then organizing for a meeting.

When he came back, I could tell his heart was troubled.

But he kept telling me, "We have announced Kakamega.

God told me to go to Kakamega.

The nation is what? Israel.

Like you can say, Masinde from Kakamega.
