I don't know if people realise, but every single time pretty much that you appear on a TV show or a podcast that's somebody else's, you don't get paid for that.

So The Morning Show, Sunrise, I've done appearances on The Cook-Up, Justine Schofield's show, all of those kinds of things, all the podcasts I've ever been on.

I've never been paid for anything.

Magazine articles, newspaper articles.

It's really allowing us to lean into some of the great things about Canberra and, you know, we have regional produce on our doorstep, we've got great local producers, but we have a really thriving hospitality industry that is, you know, world class.

So an opportunity to showcase that opportunity to showcase you know the great wine from the region we've got some of the best beer makers in the in the country and gin as well so yeah some some great local produce and of course any time that we have a theme we really lean into the programming around that theme so you know it provided an opportunity for us to have some nationally recognised celebrity chefs like Karen Martini and Mindy Woods, Stephanie Alexander, Simon Bryant and Justine Schofield and to position them alongside some of our great local chefs as well.

So what does that look like in terms of activities people can get involved with during Floriade?

So there's workshop, there's cooking demonstrations, there's meet and greet opportunities, of course we've got roving entertainment, we've got a lot of music performers, dance performers, market stalls, and of course the great food and beverage as well.
