Justin Willman

Paranoia's setting in again.

Coming up next, we're going to talk to a genuine magician, Mr Justin Willman.

Coming up

next... on DAB Digital Radio and 1089 and 1053

We're following you on Twitter now with the two mics, so we'll look forward to seeing you.

Okay, Justin, thank you very much indeed.

Justin Willman, who is a big name magician over in the States.

He certainly is.

All right, in the studio, this is, I'm going to have a little bit of a moment here, Justin.

We have Justin Willman in the studio.

And what's funny is when I knew you were coming in, and I just want to say that I don't want to offend at all, but when they said, hey, Justin Willman, he was going to come in, I was like, that's great, right? But then when I see you, I'm like, I know exactly

who you are.

It kind of is tripping me out.

Yeah, so then she would have seen me in the episode called Ghosting, where this daughter in LA saw that her mum was dating again and just ghosted heaps of dudes.

So we did this prank where the magician Justin goes on a date with this mum and all of a sudden picks up the tablecloth and disappears.

I

think I've seen it.

He had a variety show on.

Didn't you start as a comedy, like comedian slash

magician?

Yeah, kind of.

[upbeat music] Hello there.

I'm Justin Willman, entertainer, magician, comedian, et cetera, and you're on Behind The Brand with Bryan Elliott.

Everyone, welcome to another episode of the show.

Justin, welcome.

I, I wonder, you know, where that road split.

Can you share the-

Yeah, you know, well, for years, like, just on paper when you see Justin Willman, for some reason the human brain often just fills in Williams.

So, so often people would be like, "Ah, Justin Williams." No, it's Willman, you know? And, uh, you see W-I-L-L, and you think you know how it's gonna end.

I'm ha- I'm gonna have a little bit of a moment here.

Justin, we have Justin Willman in the studio.

He's performing tonight, uh, and tomorrow at the Celebrity Theatre.

Yeah.

So, uh, tickets on sale justinwillman.com. And what's funny is when I knew you were coming in, and, and I, I, I just want to say that I don't want, I don't want to offend at all.

[laughs]

But when they said, "Hey, Justin Willman, he's gonna come in," I was like, "That's great, man." But then when I see you-

Yeah

For sure.

And, you know, v- very tight community, all successful, doing stuff, but, like, Justin Willman, who's broken through.

Of course, Magic For Humans.

Yeah, and, and, you know, David Blaine and the, the it's happened before.

It went on and on for so long

... let me tell you, I love Justin Willman on Netflix.

I wa- every time he puts a show-

Who's that?
