Justin Roiland

It's picking up its steam a little bit.

I have noticed some changes in things in terms of the writing style with Justin Roiland's absence, and I kind of both like the things I like and dislike about the vibe change.

But, yeah, no, I mean, they're still cranking out stories that are interesting and jokes that are funny, even if it doesn't feel like a big event that you have to shut down your whole world for just to catch up on.

Yeah, I feel like I know.

I think that the show losing Justin Roiland, even though, you know, there's like it's it's a little bit disputed as to how much input he was even having.

Right.

Because of how dysfunctional he was and obviously not defending him as a person.

Also, at this point, they have replaced Justin Roiland, who it turns out was not a good man with someone else doing a sound alike.

mainly experience Rick and Morty now through the images I would see in weed stores of Rick and Morty hawking weed products or something.

But, you know, I mean, they're like...

I will tell you, there's no Rick and Morty without Justin Roiland.

It's just shit.

But that's what I'm saying, though.

This is the breakout.

This is the comeback role for Justin Roiland.

I don't know why that would be the line we want to respect.

I don't know what the show's overall message.

And knowing that Justin Roiland was super involved in the early seasons and then he got ditched out, I was like, okay, so this show might not have a cohesive message all the way through.

What's it about now? Right.

He finds Morty funeral hops and... to look for his family saying nice things about him at his funeral, at his alternate selves.

I haven't seen all of ser- series nine yet.

I've seen two or three episodes of that, but it's just amazing that Justin Roiland has been fired, and it just keeps on going, all the voices and-

No, Solar Opposites is like another Rick and Morty.

So I want to talk about that one a little bit, 'cause Squanch Games has sort of a really interesting history there.

I know Justin Roiland partnered with the Rick and Morty game that had all of the mechanics of Job Simulator adapted to the Rick and Morty universe, and there were a lot of, like, inside jokes in there that were really funny, and it was a match made heaven if you thought about it.

Like, the humor of Rick and Morty combined with the mechanics of super comfortable Job Simulator.

And then Squanch Games, like, did a couple other things that were really funny, and some of them were in VR and then High on Life wasn't.
