So the fact they were supporting Melt Banana, Def Club, no coincidence, I would say there's a certain sonic kinship between Monie Jitschel and those bands.

Three one G artists in general, if you're familiar with that label, a lot of Justin Pearson's bands, various bands actually that I've had on this podcast, I think have got a certain kind of sonic affinity with Moni Jitschel, whose music I would say in the beginning was particularly abrasive and panic inducing is a term that I like to use for this kind of music.

the latest record aware or the forthcoming aware, the forthcoming record aware shows some versatility and some branching out, which is definitely a cool feature of the record.

But I don't know, you're probably right with 3-1-G.

I think early on, like, we definitely wanted to do that.

We both really like Justin Pearson's band, like, Aaron Radar, Chinese Stars.

uh locust obviously all the other stuff that jp's been in um so yeah i think earlier when it started we were like oh it's obviously like the format of milk banana really like 3-1-g music and it was kind of going for that uh but now i find that harder because we've kind of branched off of that slightly um i think yeah you do like the for fans of thing and i think um Yes, maybe something like Hearts Collective or Show Me the Body or The Armed.
