Justin Lebron

Probably some guys that are kind of far away.

One of their guys, Justin LeBron, I think, wasn't he drafted this year? So, like, he's still somebody who I believe was out of college, but is – was a pretty, like – he was a high draft pick.

And I think somebody that is projected to be a shortstop.

So, basically, like, things continue to line up in my head that this is not the offseason for the Reds to trade Ellie.

So hopefully I'll get to see him in Daytona cuz Daytona team was awful this year I need some good players there this year Number three, this is a guy.

I think you'll know LeBron James Yeah, Justin LeBron.

So Justin LeBron, he was being touted, John, as like a top five pick in the draft, but fell because he had a very bad season this year in college.

Still got paid five mil and then had a really good season in his 23 games in high A this year.

So in college this year, he finished hitting 277 with 16 home runs and 42 steals.

He's kind of just a good base runner.

But Duno is a very good player.

So they do, in the Reds organization, at least have some fun players like Duno, Steele Hall, LeBron to look forward to.

Tell me about shortstop.

Because to me, that's an interesting position that obviously they're not looking to replace one for one Justin LeBron.

That'd be great if you could, but that shouldn't be the expectation, obviously.

It sounds like there's like kind of two, and just to tee you up, it sounds like there's kind of, maybe two answers to this question.

So that's probably your candidates.

Will Ryan would be somebody else who could get a look.

He's a redshirt freshman from a year ago, came in with a chance, obviously was going to play with Justin LeBron there and had some injuries and sat out.

He could be somebody.

There is some concern about how much he's going to hit.

Justin LeBron is a very similar...

Was the, the Reds', uh, first round draft pick last July, 18th overall pick.

He stole, uh, 42 bases, fifth most in Division One in 2026.

You've...

You know, if you're fantasy and dynasty leagues, you gotta take risk on players like this because these can make, um, can make you win a fantasy championship.

And Justin LeBron is one of those guys that I'm kind of curious and interested in in going into fantasy league.

So do I write about that at all? Uh, first year play...

I think it's fair to have him pretty low.

The last guys I want to talk about, Justin LeBron.

Very, I guess, I don't know the word I'm looking for, but some people love him.

Yeah, that's probably the best word for him.

Maybe it pans, maybe not.

I'm almost interested if this might be a little too getting cute.

Do you draft him highly in an FYPD with the express idea that you're going to trade him? Like you trade, like, you know, you cash in on this might, I don't, I don't know if this is like the peak of his value, but like he is going to be the hardest prospect because he can come out and, you know, if the ball stays the same way and whatever the season looks like, he could come out and, bang a ton of home runs right like he could he has that in him it's kind of like the andrew fisher thing like we don't really fully buy the hit tool but like this guy can can hit like hit for power so like do do you like i i don't even know like maybe i'm just trying maybe it's getting too cute but you draft him with the express idea of i'm going to draft him or i'm going to draft him and i'm going to trade him as soon as i think the value hits its peak um but then again i like a lot of the guys more like you're going to be able to get carter back later and i'd much rather have carter back than um than um justin lebron and i think we're going to see some analysts like you know that there is there is some advantage to zigging while everyone else is zagging so i think some people are to be in on LeBron.

And maybe you can utilize that to your advantage.

Like, y- like, I can get the Arias, 'cause then at least, like, if you look at it for them, your middle infield you have Justin LeBron and you have Franklin Arias, so it's like, all right, you can build.

And then you get Sal Stu at first base so your infield looks good.
