It's not worth the views for my life, right? but that's something that i learned is that i sometimes over film and just edit edit stuff out but i i wanted to capture the the frustration the the sadness the because that that's that's part of the trip um and yeah i think that's when somebody asked me um they were like when was it a time where things went to shit but you kept filming you know um because after like and that's the thing between life that's why i do like doing lives because it is me unedited just talking like right now this is unedited just talking because when you when it goes into like the the publishing software you do filter stuff out it is it is a little bit more like uh you know a puzzle but you know um yeah so i that's that's why i think i show speed or like uh like some of the big streamers like even even yourself right uh there's something really interesting about seeing somebody live you know, like, maybe there's a lag of 10 seconds but there's no filtering, putting the camera over there, yeah, so that's crazy.

It's interesting as shit, that's why I love the aspect of just, you know, like, Twitch TV came from a platform called Justin TV and that was Justin Kan doing something called life casting where he literally just attached a camera to his forehead and was just walking around first person live streaming his life.

And then gaming kind of came on later from people streaming games that became the bigger vertical, but like the, the roots are still there for it.

And I mean, even when I was working with Kai Sinet and we did the mafia thon, which was like his big, you know, 30 day broadcast that he did.

But that is painful at times.

One of the most interesting models around this, Justin Kan, when he started his first company after Twitch, his very first hire was a recruiter, which is basically how do we lower the error rate on hiring other people? I thought it was one of the most interesting first principles ideas.

Have you ever thought about integrating recruiters and very elite HR people into your process?

Yes.

And they hosted, you know, the events that were sold out that I mentioned.

It was Justin Kan, so Twitch co-founder, against UFC veteran Haider Amil.

It was an event in San Francisco.

After that, they did a tour across five cities in the U.S. And recently, like over the past few days, maybe they are still there, they were in Tokyo doing robot fights.
