Justin Jackson

They have the fifth pick where they take De'Aaron Fox.

They get Justin Jackson with the 15th pick.

They get Harry Giles with the 20th pick.

Frank Mason with the second pick in the first round.

And now everything's digital.

And I said, you know, it's really, I take it a real pride in we have to make sure the people who are the storytellers and the, you know, the historical caretakers now we have to make sure that 40 years from now, someone can find a picture of a Tyler Hansbro, you know, or a Justin Jackson or a Drake may, you know, those are the things because I learned that, that, you know, the impact that Choo Choo had on the university of North Carolina, 40 years later, I could just walk in and open the drawer.

And if somebody needed a photo or tell the story of who Choo Choo was,

you know,

And sat there on the bench and everyone's hugging him and all that stuff.

Yeah, it was Zach Randolph, the contract, the second year of Zach Randolph's contract that he traded with Justin Jackson to the Mavericks.

Same group of players, just Shumpert was traded to Houston and Zeebo was traded to Dallas for, for Harrison Martz.

So yeah, it's weird.

Sacramento Kings.

Rookie Marvin Bagley, Harrison Barnes, Mania Belica, Bogdan Bogdanovich, Corey Brewer, Alec Burks, Willie Culley-Stein, Yogi Ferrell, De'Aaron Fox, Harry Giles, Buddy Heald, Justin Jackson, BJ Johnson, Costa Cufos, Scala Labissiere, Frank Mason III, Ben McLemore, Iman Shumpert, Caleb Swannigan, Troy Williams.

And they

all...

Uh, so for them, you know, seeing a Theo Pinson... 'Cause y- you think about it, these guys are 18.

So Theo Pinson and Justin Jackson, you know, they were 10 years old when those guys were playing.

So it's like kind of, you know, childhood heroes almost.

To see players like that in person, to be around them, you have to think that that had some kind of impact on them.

I go back to the years where I think it was the rookie season of De'Aaron Fox.

He's got someone like Justin Jackson playing alongside of him, and he's got Vince Carter here.

The reality is Vince Carter came in and took Justin Jackson's

minutes.

And you couldn't beat out a geriatric Vince Carter as Justin Jackson.

And in doing so, because there is an element of earn it, right? You've got like, if you want, if you expect to, even as a rookie, look, I mean, like Darius Acuff has a big green light.

He's going to have the runway paved because his success is so imperative that If he succeeds, the Kings team will succeed.
