So I asked Justin Hood, their secondary coach, this afternoon about how much did it hurt Avian to not be out there the last couple weeks, and he said, "Eh, he's banked so many mental reps throughout this whole process," and they've emphasized so much of trying to keep guys mentally engaged that, uh, because it was my concern the whole time was Avian was leveling up, leveling up, leveling up throughout the first week and a half of camp to the point where he was getting reps with the ones in the slot.

I think Avion real quick to kind of put a bow on him was like the thing that stood out to me in talking to Justin Hood, the secondary coach today, was – How his understanding, I think, of the game and specifically like the NFL nuances of the game, the short motion versus kind of a cross formation motion and the communication and how that has to all play is really important for a young corner and especially somebody who's going to be playing in the slot where you're closer to the action, where the communication has to happen both ways.
