The Avery Markham character, in my opinion, was a great – it wasn't Winn-Duffie, but it was a great addition to the season.

Nick, I know you've got a number of things going on in your career, but can we just geek out on Justified for about five minutes? Oh, sure.

Today he's here to talk about directing and producing season three of Apple TV's dystopian sci-fi series, Silo, which took an interesting turn this season with the introduction of a parallel backstory that allowed Dinner to create a whole new style for the show.

He talks about that and collaborating with showrunner Graham Yost again.

They worked together previously on the original incarnation of Justified and a lot more.

So I know obviously you and Graham Yost have this incredible relationship now going back.

Was Justified the first thing you worked together on?

And Yost is incredible.

If you know Graham Yost's work on shows like Justified or The Americans, you know the man is a master of the slow burn.

He understands how to build tension in a confined space.

He really does.
