Metaphysical agnosticism means this kind of attitude that you cannot verify or falsify most metaphysical or philosophical theories.

Idealism for example versus materialism.

Philosophers have debated for millennia which theory is true or false.

And to begin with it's really difficult to define truth conditions for philosophical theories.

It's relatively easy to define truth conditions for my representation that there is a cup in my hand and quite clear cases on how I could be mistaken or right in my judgment.

But regarding philosophical ideas, like everything is forms of cosmic consciousness or everything is forms of dead matter.
