Jurgis Rudkus

So this is The Jungle, Upton Sinclair, published in 1906 when he was 28, which explains a few things, I think.

And it is the story of Jurgis Rudkus and family, an immigrant to America from Lithuania.

Basically, Jurgis comes to America with his extended family, like his parents, his fiance, and some of his fiance's sisters.

And it's a little bit hard to track.
