Junzō Yoshimura

And so he was an engineer, and he was teaching at Waseda University.

Junzo Yoshimura was an architect who was quite famous.

He did a lot of buildings over in the U.S. as well as in Japan.

And he was teaching at Geidai, the national university.

And...

If I went to Geidai, Junzo Yoshimura said, well, I could come and attend classes, but I wouldn't be able to get a degree because I don't read or write Japanese.

And then Mr. Minami at Waseda said, well, you can do your work in English and get a real degree.

So I went to Waseda thinking that that would be a good thing to get a real degree.
