So for me, I grew up in quite a tumultuous background, so I can give the full origin here.

We grew up as Korean immigrants.

I traveled to the US when I was just three years old, and I only knew America, but all I saw in my internal home was hardship.

So my dad didn't speak the language.

My mom didn't speak the language.
