I just don't remember it being popular at all.

And probably also because he didn't want the band to be known as a keyboard band.

And Jump was already... going against the grain and now the second single for this album is going to be keyboard driven? I don't think so.

So I bet you there was some internal turmoil, you know, between the band and the label or, you know, certain facts

Van Halen, Jump They, people, David Lee Roth was horrified when they put the keyboards on Jump.

To me, and I tell people that and they look at me like I had three heads, Jump was the first song I remember by Van Halen.

They weren't big until that song.

They were, they were big in a sense, but they weren't what they became.
