When you talk about building things with intentionality, what are some of the things that, you know, and I'd love to generalize this, you know, that you see companies like yours and which other companies were doing? What are some of the things you would, what are best practices around intentionality?

Juliette BlakeGUEST
I actually want to quick before I talk about Moxie's there and like the Safe by Design Foundation and what that means.

Juliette BlakeGUEST
As I kind of alluded to, part of my former business, we created one of the first family series with YouTube Originals and we partnered with Disney on it.

Juliette BlakeGUEST
And we were really intentional with the way we created the series, which meant we had this incredible advisory board before we even sat down to write it, which include Kimberly Bryant, who at the time was the CEO of Black Girls Code, Gina Davis and Madeline DiNono of the Gina Davis Institute on Gender and Media, Rosalind Weissman, who wrote the book Queen Bees and Wannabes, Jess Wiener, who does a ton with girls and development and leadership.

Ned JohnsonHOST
What are some of the things that you think about in the design of the gamification for Moxies? And then second, what are some of the things that you advise parents of, because you're a mom of three, to how to allow your kids to get the best out of games, but not having it develop the worst in them?

Juliette BlakeGUEST
You know, I think at the end of the day, the issue with both the devices as well as the platforms is that they were just designed to be addictive.

Juliette BlakeGUEST
When we're talking about these big tech platforms, right? And so they have to build in that functionality to drive revenue.
