This time around, we are smack dab in the middle of the month of September.

This is our Desperate Times month, where somebody's taking a big risk in these movies, and our movie this time around is, it's a math equation this time around, a secret math movie, Romeo plus Juliet.

Because how many movies do you have that way? You have Romeo plus Juliet.

So there keep being abortive efforts to restructure the middle of Italy.

and to say, we want to get rid of the feuding, Montague and Capulet equivalent, selfish, bloody-minded, feuding families and put in something new.

But something new is inevitably somebody's nephew or crony.

And then the next person strips it out and overthrows it, and the next person strips it out and overthrows it.

This is the one that kind of crosses over from the stage and becomes like a pop culture referenceable story.

In the adaptations that you were talking about, film at least, do you count Gnomeo and Juliet? Yeah, absolutely.

Do you count Sherlock Gnomes

as a Romeo and

Juliet adaptation? Mm-hmm.

Probably not.

It focuses on Sherlock gnomes.

Mercutio is trying to convince Romeo to forget about his crush, Rosalind.

And you'll see so many beautiful ladies.

You'll realize your swan, Rosalind, is actually a crow by comparison to the hotties we're going to see tonight.
