well we're here okay so let me walk everyone through a little story um i was listening to julie klausner's podcast how was your week uh if you type one more fucking letter i was opening my notes

i was 10 minutes late i was opening my notes

So I was listening to Julie Klausner's podcast, How Was Your Week, a couple weeks ago, and she was interviewing Daniel Kittredge, who is the director of this new documentary, Borman and the Devil, about, which is, I mean, the short version of it is it's about the making of Exorcist II.

Really what it's more about is John Borman, and really, really what it's more about is taking chances as an artist.

and uh no for for real for real like this movie i i saw two nights ago uh with friend of the show adam felber uh because both of you turned me down and uh the pre-existing plans i'm not saying you didn't have good good reasons but you did say no

I'm doing this with a special guest today because Paul is away, and we are talking about one of my favorite movies of all time, a movie that, as of now, is not on any of those major lists except one, my Letterboxd Top 4.
