I'm Julie Cofone.

I'm the new communications coordinator at MCB.

I started last fall, and I'm glad to be with, with you all today.

In my role, I help share information, whether it's through keeping our website updated, connecting with our community on social media, or working with our staff to plan and promote events that bring people together.

One particular project I've been a part of, um, the past few months is a social media campaign to raise awareness of careers that serve people who are blind or visually impaired.

Careers like orientation mobility specialists, assistive technology specialists, vision rehabilitation therapists, and teachers of students with visual impairments.

So I did get a, an email recently from an intern that asked could she get jobs around the state.
