Julian Wade

He really ignited this tie when he came off the bench.

If you get a chance to watch the highlights, his work to create the first goal for Jordan McRae was... absolutely superb i thought and then shaky we've got the second to wrap it up and that's four seasons in the bounce now clark have made it into round two which you know it's pretty pretty good going because as we've seen over the course of the weekend there's a lot of you know a lot of good teams in it and a lot of hard ties you can get so no main feat to get through four years on the trot and a similar vein actually as well for martin united again away against lowland league east opposition civil service strollers and they won two nil julian wade and hamish ritchie the scorers and that was a you know against another you know decent opponent a very good result for for martin and i'm on about records in the cup for martin that's now I think the last time they lost their opening tie in the Scottish Cup was back in season 2013-14 so I think that's 13 seasons on the trot now they've always got through their first game which is a you know when you think on the teams you can play in that that's a remarkable record really and all credit you know all credit to them again on Saturday for keeping that going and I think pleasing for them as well I know he's still got a few out but Stuart Anderson maybe starting to get one or two back as well which will make them stronger going forward and probably most notably in the last week like Glenn Murison has come back and played against Forfer in the KDM Cup last Tuesday and then started on Saturday as well so there's no king when he's available he's one of the first names in the team sheet usually so that's a boost for Martin as well and then the other two teams have got through a couple of real roller coasters I mean Strathspey Thistle beating Dalbeattie Star 3-2 at Seafield Park I mean first of all great credit to Strathspey for winning because it's only the second time in their history they've won a Scottish Cup game so you know a real you know Ken not something that happened often before so it's a landmark moment and you know five goal thriller and roller coaster for for the team and for Robbie Thompson especially because there was a goal down Jack Davison equalized Robbie Thompson scored two one up we then had a penalty saved Dalbeattie equalized I think five minutes to go or something and you think well What's going to happen now and then, Robbie Thompson, I think, I've only seen the highlights of the games involving league clubs, but I would say for me, Robbie Thompson's winner for Strathspey is the goal of the round.

It is an absolute screamer for 30 yards.

To use the cliche, a goal fit to win any game, and it was a great goal for Strathspey to get them through.
