Julian Manson

He's had a really nice final season for the Hawkeyes as they played even more 4-3 than they have the last couple of years.

Also talked about a couple of the young linebackers, including Julian Manson.

who just arrived on campus but obviously has the background with his dad, Jason, being a part of the Iowa football staff, has that institutional knowledge of the program, physically imposing, a guy that definitely looks the part out there and really excited about his future.

Also talked about Preston Reese, and they're keeping it simple for Reese.

And then the three, three, five is allowed Reese, some playing time, wheeze cough.

And then even, you know, if we even want to go deeper down the list, the way Julian Manson is, has been on special teams and in garbage time.

So that that that linebacker unit, it's really good.

And it's also super deep.

Probably Buffington.

And it's like on special teams return coverage, if someone comes flying down the field and makes a tackle, it's probably Preston Reese.

It might be Darian Jones or Julian Manson, but it seems like...

Preston Reese, for someone that's not in a starting role, he's made an impact, whether that be on special teams, whether that be in the 3-3-5.

Thank you, Bobby.

Uh, I've been really impressed by Julian Manson when he gets on the field.

Can you tell us more about Julian? Uh, well he's a highly, widely, a highly recruited, uh, a widely regaled high school recruit here from the great state of Iowa.

Yeah.
