So gentlemen, I want to begin just by sort of level setting where we are today.

And so both sides, I think, have very strong reasons to want to keep this going forward.

Yeah, I think that's probably my base case scenario too, and I'm a little mystified, in all honesty, why the administration, it seems like, was in the position of arguing for a shorter extension.

'Cause my understanding from colleagues in the private sector is that this is just going to spook a lot of companies that still rely on these rarers, right? Like, this is a hundred days.

That's not enough to kind of make adequate plans and backup plans, right, for what they're going to do with these materials.
