You know, I do think there is a little bit of truth in that, because the training you get in the private sector, because you are doing, you know, very, uh, kind of complicated, high volume matters, I think my time in the- without my time in private practice, I wouldn't have been able to do my job at the clinic because I was carrying my own files, my own caseload.

I was managing them completely independently, with oversight obviously, but the day-to-day was quite independent, and there's no way I would've been able to do that without the training that I got in private practice.

So, I mean, it really depends though.

But I don't think it's gonna hurt your career starting in private practice.

They were self-employed, and it's very stressful being self-employed, and we kinda saw that firsthand with them.

So I remember growing up being like, "Oh my God, I never wanna be self-employed.
