There's a band out of Louisville called Jukebox the Ghost, which is maybe the weirdest band name ever, and they have a song called Fred Astaire, and it's named after one of the great dancers of the 20th century.
Kevin GollGUEST
31:37
The song, it's actually a very funny song, but it's a deeply meaningful song, and it's somebody singing about how their significant other sees them.
Kevin GollGUEST

I first heard the song through my pastor, who was actually doing a chapel service for the Baylor football team, and he used it as a spiritual illustration of this guy's a terrible dancer, and he has found someone that loves him so much that when he dances terribly, she sees Fred Astaire dancing.

I don't know that I actually, I don't think I actually watched Rooney's set during the Rooney show.
KirstenGUEST
15:33
I think I watched Jukebox the Ghost and then I watched Tally Hall and then went and talked to Tally Hall in the stairwell for like half an hour or something.

John WebberHOST

... right? There's a song by, uh, Jukebox The Ghost.
John WebberHOST
27:38
It's a great tune, and it's called, um, you know, "When I Dance Like I Don't Care, I Dance Like Fred Astaire." Like, in other words, most of the time when you're putting on a performance, it's like you're, you're constricting your performance to try to make it perfect.
AugustineGUEST
27:53
Yeah.
Tommy SiegelHOST

Hi, everyone.
Tommy SiegelHOST

Tommy SiegelHOST
15:43
probably the bodini bird i think one of the funniest things about like getting older as a musician is you kind of just stop finding the nuts and bolts of rock and roll like as interesting as you and that this sort of ego gratification side of rock and roll and the the whirlwind of it it becomes less interesting so i think it's I just love the idea that people who might have found this podcast through Jukebox the Ghost or just like through rock and roll that we have a tour recap episode and we're just talking about the genus of the ginkgo tree.
Tommy SiegelHOST
16:17
You know what I mean? Yeah.
DC SullyGUEST
14:39
went on a podcast with.
EmmaHOST

DC SullyGUEST

DC SullyGUEST
14:50

DC SullyGUEST
14:54
Okay, so it was Speak, Casey Sherry, Tally Hall.
