And he's just, like, filling spreadsheet after spreadsheet, and he's kinda twitchy, anxious about leaving, and eventually he, like, closes his laptop, goes over to his brown 2010 Honda Civic that's starting to fall apart, but it still has the spirit in it.

And it, uh, he just sort of anxiously drives his way over there, uh, I think listening to a podcast, probably, like, a UFO conspiracy podcast, but it's on low because he's agitated and he just wants noise.

He doesn't wanna be distracted.

Player violin? [laughs] No, they had those in the Old West.

And then last but not least, Juicy.

Yeah, so Cloice went to the opera.

There was a traveling Italian opera coming to town, so Cloice went over to the opera house, got himself a One of those, like, seats in a balcony on the side.

We love them.

They're fun.

He had his fan out, was enjoying the evening, and there was this gorgeous tenor who just had the most incredible, perfect voice.

So, Cloice got his way backstage at the end of the show and wined and dined this tenor and then just drained him dry after having him sing for hours.

And Chloe, are you just like vibing? Are you are you drinking? What are you doing?

And tell me, how do you indulge in your passion of beauty and make a goddamn mess of it?

Allô, I would like to rent out the Shirley Eustis House in Roxbury, which is a mansion from a former governor, and I would like to find the most beautiful men, the most beautiful, young, luscious men, and then I would like to kill them.

But slowly.

I will suspend each and every one of them from the rafters in this house, and I will invert them, and I will make these slow, delicate cuts in each of their throats to drip down and catch into glass all of their blood.

How I miss the French countryside, how I was able to see some of the great European painters do their work in person.

Some of them a little further back than makes some sense, but he doesn't care.

How are Todd Borgeson's years spent?

They're spent slowly and painfully.

The event of that night just completely locked itself into his brain, and it ultimately traumatized him, giving him a nightmare disorder.

And he wakes up frequently at night in full sweat, just with this horrible white light taking up his entire field of vision, and it feels like it lasts an infinity of hours.

And his parents moved him out of town.

He was only 14 at the time.

Ends up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where his mom came from, right? And then he just goes through high school in a haze, gets a random degree that is accessible in Milwaukee, just a random business degree.

So the three remaining characters I have, two are lawful.

Odd, of course, the halfling ranger, cut off the golden arm and will split it with the remaining two.

Dur, the dwarf sacrifice, does of course pay off her debts, and then does sacrifice herself to Odin, um, and dies almost five minutes later by hanging herself from a tree over a well.

Um, yeah.

And, and it's the n- and we talked pre-recording.

This is an evolution of, uh, Index Card RPG by Runehammer, where you're... you didn't get XP, you advanced through getting items, and, and weapons, but also just objects generally that were magical or important.

You hear just soft yips almost on your heels and what feels like cold breath right at the area where your socks meet your shoes, right as you get in the truck and slam the door shut and you look and there's nothing but darkness and shadow and a bit of light cast from the moon.
