Do you know what Judy Garland did for her sad, sad Lorna? What? This is a really sweet story, but I love bullying Lorna Luft because she wasted 200 of my American dollars on a cameo.

I don't want to get into it.

But

There were songs like Liza was actually named after the song Liza, I think.

And then Lorna didn't have a song.

And so when Judy Garland had her TV show, Lorna was like,

Mom,

Like,

This is when men were staying at home alone and listening to Judy Garland and crying.

Oh, yeah.

But it is in this sort of unique ecosystem, this this hothouse atmosphere that this like almost like this greenhouse that's around them that allows their romance to blossom and flourish.

She's going to be releasing a holiday album which is going to feature a collaboration with fellow Canadian actor Martin Short.

The two are supposed to perform a rendition of a Judy Garland holiday classic.

We don't know what that is as of yet.

but that's supposed to be on the album.

And I find that to be interesting.

And Judy Garland...

I always hope for these, the children of these people that they are just like, actually pretty boring and normie and just like get into, just aren't really good at accounting or something and they could just not have it because I feel like it's so, we were just talking about Liza, you know, and I know we have a Judy Garland-y kind of story of her mom or whatever, but I mean, come on, I mean, it just seems tragic.

the only way to be a famous person's kid especially musically but probably in general is to either be an incredible talent or to be completely just some guy and i think that if you're in the middle like that's where you get a chit you know it's like you if you are like i'm interested in a chit I'm interested in this industry, but I have middling talent at best.

Or psychosis.

But these doctors' job, I mean— They existed back in the days of Judy Garland.

They existed back in the days of Elizabeth Taylor.

There are doctors whose job it is is to kind of like keep the train heading towards the correct station and, you know, whatever they have to do to juice up the tracks, they're going to do.

And I did, I used to do a lot of like celebrity exposes of the trauma.

And then, and Judy Garland was someone who had a forced abortion.

And then it was a whole traumatic reenactment with her.

And she wouldn't even let her mother in to come see because the mom had forced that.
