There is this preconceived idea that all of a sudden, you know, I'm so us- I'm still paying for my insurance, so therefore, I gotta use a doctor that's in, you know, in network, yada, yada, yada, and o- oh, why would I wanna spend thousands of dollars on a concierge physician? Can you go into some detail about the, the cost? Not nec- not specific cost, but just sort of this miscon- is it a misconception? I mean, f- you know, for a guy who might be researching this, what should he expect?
3:48
Well, the, the first thing it is, it is, it is a misconception.
3:52
People think that it's for the ultra wealthy, and that's, uh, that's not the case, or that they have to be in the C-suite.
3:59
Like for instance, our company name is Executive Medicine of Texas, but you don't have to be an executive necessarily to, to take part in our services.
4:09
And I think they should look at what, what the concierge practice is.
4:14
This is one thing that, that we are rectifying in, with Executive Medicine and with the Academy of Concierge Medicine, which is one thing that, that we are forming this year, is there's no oversight.
4:26
So what happens in concierge medicine is some doctor can say, "You know what? I'm tired of insurance.

Um, my, I've got insu- like I said earlier, he, I've got insurance." What have you found to be helpful or, you know, useful when it comes to making those mental shifts and really allowing yourself the permission to really take advantage of this type of service?
5:33
that
5:34
as most people can say, we kind of go in and out of flow.
5:40
And I can feel the difference.
5:41
I think that the idea is to recognize the difference.
5:46
And I don't think I was actually able to recognize the difference and get out of flow until my late 40s.
5:54
And so the time when I had young kids at home and things were crazy and I was going back to school and everything felt like a struggle.
6:02
I mean, it wasn't just like there was trash in the river or a little bit of a dam.

later in life, unfortunately.
3:06
Can you help us cut through the noise and share what really matters most for living a longer, healthier life?
3:16
Yeah, I'd absolutely love to.
3:17
I think we have to kind of step back and say, you know, what is this noise about and where is it coming from? And we have to remember that a lot of it comes from marketing dollars.
3:27
A lot of it comes from, you know, follow the money, you know, who's trying to sell us what.
3:32
And then there's all of these opportunities for them to be dinging our phones, be on our televisions, across our social media feeds.
3:41
And boy, can they make just about anything look good.
3:46
And I think we all have, I'll admit, I've done it.
