Judd Legum did a very deep dive on VoteSafe.org, a voter registration site funded by Musk and his America PAC that has absolutely abysmal privacy protections, and that appears to be the point.

In the past week, Elon Musk's Super PAC, America PAC, has spent over $180,000 driving people to the website ahead of the midterms.

So just what does Musk want? Judd Legum reports on his Substack that he's after your private information.

When you use VoteSafe to, quote, check your registration, the site also collects your home address, your cell phone number, your IP address, and your location, and voter registration status, and every link that you click.

In short, Musk learns far more about you than you learn about your registration status.

The, the, the center and the left doesn't really have that kind of funding for those people.

And so you can trust, and, and one of the people I'm gonna mention, be mentioning to you today is Judd Legum from, um, Popular Information.

A lot of those people have, have really, really good reporters, and you can actually check and see where their income comes from and to whom they're reporting.

But, um, but The reason that I wanted to focus on this today is because of something a big, a much bigger picture that's going on right now, um, coming up to the midterm elections in the United States, and that is the use of information to change the way people interact with [lip smacks] voting and with the government.

It was something somewhat against the Democrats.

I mean, there were lots of ways to manipulate the way people thought about that election.

[lip smacks] And one of the things that we are seeing right now is the rise, um, and Judd Legum covered this today, of, um, [lip smacks] the investment of Elon Musk in the midterm elections, and he has said he will spend up to $100 million in these midterm elections, which by the way, don't even start me about how that should be illegal even though that is not.

That's something we'll have to take on, that Citizens United, that's with some complications around that.

And then the next day, I was reading it, and an email pops up from the author himself.

His name's Judd Legum.

And Legum, I'm not sure how to pronounce his surname, sorry.

And he was offering to talk about his story.

So I reached out to both.

One Nation at Judd Legum from and Axios and Notice and other reporting organizations.

news services have noted that one nation is allied with the, the political action committee, the super PAC that is trying to elect Republicans to the U S Senate.

This is from Substack.

Um, the creator is Judd Legum, L-E-G-U-M, and the title is "The Smoking Guns in Trump's New Financial Disclosure." Okay? Trump publicly praised companies the same day he bought their stock.

Quote, "On March 11, President Trump took a tour of a manufacturing facility in Reading, Ohio, owned by Thermo Fisher Scientific, a medical company, uh, a medical supply company.

During the tour, Trump lavished praise on Thermo Fisher, which uses the facility to manufacture prescription drugs on a contract basis.
