But like, was there anything that happened in that three and a half years that was like, really helped you mature and evolve your music?

I mean, I moved to LA from San Diego to do music.

And I wasn't the type of person, like growing up as a kid, I wasn't like, I'm gonna be a singer.

I just knew I had a love for music and the voice and I also grew up dancing and I kind of fell into that and became good at it.

So when I moved to LA to do music, it really had a lot to do with my community encouraging me to go into it.

I just grew up around parents who were like, that's not a realistic career.

So it was just something I was always a little hesitant about.

And it started off with a beat by a producer who, um, he just played me a bunch of beats, and I picked multiple.

And I, I worked on the writing with Matt Keen and Varen Wade, and then we kinda let, I kind of let the song, you know, just stay in the vault, but I loved it, and I expressed my love for this song.

Uh, but some time went by, maybe a little bit too much time, and the producer ended up having to look out for himself-
