Josh Wolff

So I did not hit both my goals.

But here in Austin, our, Josh Wolff, our head coach, got let go.

They brought in new GM, Rodolfo Borrell, who came from Man City.

He was a assistant coach under Pep.

...

Josh Wolff, assistant in Minnesota.

Not super fun as an answer here, but I tell you what, if they get rid of Cameron Knowles, which I would be surprised if he's still their coach next, next season, um, Josh Wolff just might get that job.

I don't know.

Obviously a sporting change in Minnesota with Carlo Mad leaving.

But Josh Wolff, um, I, I know this wasn't the tenor of the question, but he's the right answer.

And then for me, Vancouver Whitecaps assistant Mike D'Agostino, really good.

Right now he's a guest assistant with Canada during the international break.

Wow

... you, Clint, Gooch, Casey Keller, Frankie Hejduk, DaMarcus Beasley, Josh Wolff, Gregg Vanney, Landon Donovan, and John O'Brien.

Oh, and Chris Armas.

Chris Armas.

And in addition to that important philosophical point, we also wanted to make certain that our sporting director had a degree, if not expertise, in MLS, the MLS transactional model.

but it also felt very much like the Nico Estevez press conference where they introduced Nico and basically started with like, here are all the ways that he's great and very clearly in the ways that Josh Wolf was bad.

So I think you have to take all of it with a little bit of a grain of salt because what else are you going to do in this world other than being like, the new guy is completely different and so we're going to do things differently.

Yeah.

So...

Is there something that we can articulate about what that is exactly?

His most successful years in Philadelphia, and I went back and watched some tape on these years, and it is a stark contrast from what we were seeing under Nico Estevez and especially Josh Wolfe, the tenure there, where it's about keeping the ball, playing it safe, keeping your structure.

Those gym curtain teams, you launch the ball forward as quick as you can.
