Josh Rhodes

What happens working at Kennedy Center? I meet Mark Bruni.

I had already met Josh Rhodes doing something else, but we did Spamalot at Broadway Center stage.

That led to Spamalot on Broadway.

That led to Great Gatsby on Broadway.

I'm curious how you balance your own expertise and artistic inclinations with with that larger collective vision, particularly as you're coming in essentially as one of the final pieces of creating the hole in the theater.

Sure.

I mean, I would think that the directors that I work with the most, people like Mark Bruni, Josh Rhodes, Dennis Jones, people we know and love, I think one of the reasons that they hire me is because they know that I will just do my thing, right? I don't need to ask them in every moment, what do you think this is? What are you trying to go for? Blah, blah, blah.

And I think that is what most directors want.
