They wanted to write a book disproving Christianity, and they ended up writing a book that actually argued for Christianity.

One is a guy named Josh McDowell.

He wrote a little book, which I read when I first became a Christian, and I read it after I got cancer.

It's called More Than a Carpenter.

Someone gave it to Olivia.

After one of her yoga classes that she led, it's More Than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell.

The reason I'm taking it, I've never read this.

I think I knew about it a long time ago, but I've forgotten about it.

If I don't have to pack it, I ain't packing it.

Yeah.

but this is a tiny little paperback, more than a carpenter by Josh McDowell, and I really want to use this opportunity, because you can't, some things you just, you get this unique opportunity to be, I connect with God a lot in nature, that's just kind of how I'm built, and everybody does, I get it, but I love the water, I love the woods, I love being out there, and I'm looking for, I hope it's clear nights sometimes to see the stars and the beautiful vistas and all this, and I want to recognize where I'm at in these moments, And I think having that book with me is gonna help ground me so that I'm not just out there going, oh, look how beautiful this is.

I wanna use this as a six-day moment.

As I mentioned before, at least for me, I wasn't into apologetics, obviously.

I didn't know who Josh McDowell was, so I knew nothing about this debate between Christians and Muslims that had been going on.

I had kind of heard of it, but it comes on the radar in... a very big way so kind of another thing I don't know if everyone can remember but you know I'd love to just hear like obviously you're a little different you knew quite a bit about Islam but what do people know about it and what do you think has been what did people learn about Islam from 9 11 that is true and what did they learn that's false so it needs to be corrected even today

yeah Well, I'm actually curious before I sort of jump in as to what you guys at the time knew or even thought about it.

So I was like, do I even want to go back? What do I even believe? It's kind of sent me into a spiral.
