Um, you know, obviously, uh, Matt Renshaw got 100 in the first game, Travis Head got 100 in the second, and then we saw, um, Josh Inglis, uh, get his century in the third ODI.

And that, that in the end proved, um, you know, victory for Australia.

So that in itself was probably, uh, a more indicative game [chuckles] of the series, whereas Zimbabwe did make more runs than they should have, and then Australia struggled to chase them down after losing early wickets.

Uh, a great century there in the middle from Josh Inglis and then that partnership at the end.

So rather than talking about the games themselves and the results, let's talk about the players who have won and lost in this particular series.

Because as it turns out, apart from the games we've just spoken about that have been played in South Africa right now, uh, the three-game series, beyond that, Australia play New Zealand in a three-game series, uh, in the top end next year.

Uh, and Travis Head, of course, came into that first game, and he managed just four, but it was the second game where he managed 112 that changed the course of that game as well.

Uh, so he has been the opening bat in the one-day team for some time, and he will remain the opening bat in the one-day team, even if he does eventually move back down the order in the test team, if, you know, common sense prevails, I guess.

Uh, Josh Inglis is the other century maker in that.

So Australia had plenty of century makers, which is always handy in the one-day game.

I think most of those games were sort of finishing around midnight, and you know, some of them were pretty good, and you know, some of them were also pretty poor as well, I think just in terms of a general cricket standpoint, but The Aussies obviously coming away with a three-nil win was, I think, important just for a bit of confidence coming into this South Africa series.

And, you know, it wasn't the standard names that we see across the board normally from top to bottom, but there were still some key players, you know, the likes of Mitch Marsh, Travis Head, Cooper Conley, Josh Inglis.

Matty Renshaw and Nathan Allison and Adam Zampa as well, I guess.

So probably going to be guys who are well and truly in the mix when we're talking about the 2027 ODI World Cup, which is coming around very quickly as well.

So, yeah, it was an impressive series.

I think when you look at the batting across the board, it was nice to see guys like Renshaw get on top with 109 in the first game.

Travis Head had 112 in the second game, and obviously Josh Inglis, 103 in that third game.

And, you know, from a Mitch Marsh and Cooper Conley perspective, from a WA standpoint, they were also just super impressive across the board for the three games.
