Josh Fussell

And like, like that's the thing.

Like you realize we haven't had Josh Fussell since Indiana, um, since the beginning of that game.

A game we lost by six, we didn't have the best corner in the Big 10 for the vast majority of the game.

Who knows what kind of difference that would've made? Those are the kind of things I'm thinking about.

I mean, for crying out loud.

I mean, again, we know nothing.

But if a Josh Fussell walks onto the field against Michigan State, like, that's, that's a game changer.

Same with a Braden Turner, same with a Damon Walters.

It's a different kind of matchup this time around, especially with the injuries here.

So Josh Fussell is out.

Braden Turner is doubtful.

Damon Walters is doubtful.

i i would say they're a huge factor um you know so far northwestern their top two corners um are two in the top five in terms of past breakups in the big ten are both questionable for the game.

I believe Josh Fussell, their top coverage corner, is doubtful.

Braden Turner, their main slot corner, who was great last year.

I believe he was All-Big Ten honorable mention.

And those two things had us at many times flummoxing one of the best teams in the country and the defending national champion.

Despite the fact that all the problems we've been talking about very much still exist, and we immediately lost the Big Ten's best corner in Josh Fussell-

Ugh

... for who knows how long.

A couple other comments here from the Reverend DJ Esquire.

Matchup to watch is Josh Fussell, who might be the best cornerback in the Big Ten against Charlie Becker or Nick Marsh.

Fussell is a shutdown corner.

It's one of the great things about where Indiana's at right now is that they have this embarrassment of riches at wide receiver.

And defensively, they have several impressive players on that side of the football that I am very excited to see moving forward.

Josh Fussell being one of them at defensive back.

Robert Fitzgerald being another at safety, who's one of the highest graded players per PFF.

They take on Indiana, and that's going to be a pretty interesting game because I think Northwestern might be better than the Illinois team last year and match up better with Indiana than that Illinois team did last season.

Where it opened up at 23.5 and Sharps immediately bet it down a few points.

just too high of a number for most models, and Childs has given them issues before.

In the secondary, Robert Fitzgerald, Braden Turner, Josh Fussell, they could compete with some of Indiana's Byron Baldwin Jr., Preston Zachman, A.J. Harris, Omari Farrell.

Outside of that, I look at Indiana and Chidiobi Aizor, Tobi Onsen Sanmi, they're trying to get...

You know, they really like the guys that they have out there.

Josh Fussell.

and or a day, although also a day he got hurt for a little bit, Monte pay came in and he played really well.

So I think there's a chance you might see him in the mix too there, but like I said, they feel really good about their back seven.
