So the Waffle Group, these are the 10 guys who were in that Waffle Group that trained after the main group.

Sean Darcy, Bailey Banfield, Chris Sherry, Tobin Murray, Jeremy Sharp, Josh Draper, Toby Wan, Jaron Carr, Charlie Nichols, and Judd McPhee.

So they're the guys who were not in the main AFL group.

They trained for about... 15 to 20 minutes after the main group.

One year, one-year extension? Yeah, well deserved after the last five games.

I think as well, but, like the thing that worries me about Omac, not to be negative, is that does this show a distrust in Draper and Davies? I know Davies just got a new contract.

But is this not saying to Draver- uh, Draper and Davies, "Hey, we don't think you're ready yet." Like, uh, we were big fans of, hey, Davies seems to be dominating at waffle level.

He's doing really well.

We've seen what Draper's done.

All right, we know what Omac is.

Why aren't we playing these guys? I also think it's a flip side of, hey, we're in win now mode.

And he won't be on that...

So no Brendan Cox, and it, it, it, it gets me thinking, what are they gonna do in that sense? Do they just go with the standard as they have done all season long when Cox hasn't played of Pearce, Ryan, Chapman, McDonald, Warner, Clark, and McVeigh? That'd be the seven, and that is a pretty settled backline.

So I don't necessarily see Justin Longmuir changing things up, but would they look at a Brandon Walker? Would they look at a Josh Draper by chance? Hugh Davies, maybe, maybe not.

I doubt it.

I do ask the question though because I'm looking at it and Fremantle's backline seem to be susceptible to small to medium sized forwards that can get up and down the ground, are agile, good crummers, et cetera, et cetera.

If it's not Riddle, then the Dockers had used Josh Draper fleetingly at Peel in the ruck earlier this season.

What is clear now is that the Dockers don't just need a plan B as far as their ruck stocks go.

They may have to turn to plan C.

They've obviously got maybe the best key defensive pack in the competition with Alex Pierce, Brennan Cox, Luke Ryan, Oscar McDonald was saying what he's doing, knocking on the door.

I'm a big fan of Josh Draper.

He just probably hasn't been able to crack into this side as much.

hugh davies and ollie murphy still waiting in the wings but guys we haven't really seen too much or at all at afl level so i still think it's an area for them to to address um would that be your number one too i think so yeah you
