State Senator Josh Becker wrote the law that lets Californians fight back.

And he says it's hitting a nerve.

You know what? I don't want my information being bought and sold by entities I don't know about.

Absolutely.

I mean, they particularly very recently, through my good friend, uh, Senator Josh Becker, who's the chair of the committee down there, uh, passed legislation on this question of grid efficiency to really, uh, stress test all of the aspects of how to use the full grid to much more capacity instead of the type of underutilization that we have.

So I think efficiency's another opportunity, battery storage, permitting.

A number of those issues really go to the core of the systems issue and, as you said, including, uh, the types of partnerships with our tribal, uh, partners that is just critical to move forward.

I know, he probably listens to the show, exactly.

Do you think Josh Becker listens to the show? I think we've talked about...

I don't know.

That's always been a question.

Well, SB 905 is the one that we have been looking at so closely.

Josh Becker has, you know, really been shepherding this through the legislature, and Deploy Action, which, you know, I'm on the board of, is pushing it pretty hard.

And the goal really behind it is to figure out how to get the utility company to better utilize what we've all paid for and figure out how we actually get bills down, right? And I think everyone is fully aligned.

We had Carla Peterman at our launch in Sacramento earlier this year, and so I think everyone's fully aligned.
