Good morning again, everyone, uh, and welcome to this session on welcoming refugees in a divided Britain.
0:11
For those of you who weren't here yesterday, we'll do a quick recap.
0:15
So yesterday, we focused on God's heart for refugees and three reasons why our hearts should also be moved.
0:26
First, we looked at the identity of all human beings as made in the image of God.
0:33
That gives every human inherent worth and dignity, and that includes refugees too.
0:39
When you see a refugee, you see a divine image-bearer, and that should shape our response.
0:03
It really is such a joy to be with you all here today.
0:08
This is very much a full circle moment for, for me, uh, and I want to share a story with you, um, because I think it's, it's particularly relevant.
0:21
Can we have the next slide, please? A number of years ago, uh, a friend and I were here at the Keswick Convention.
0:31
We were camping here for the whole week, and a lovely thing about the convention is that you strike up conversations with people you've never met before, but people who share your faith, who are brothers and sisters in Christ.

One afternoon, my friend sat, uh, friend and I, we sat on a bench in Market Square not far from here in the town center eating our meal deal lunches, and a couple walked towards us with their meal.
1:00
They smiled at us, and they came and said hello.
