Joseph Lamagna

This week's episode is a big one, and I'm really excited for it because, uh, I mean, I say big not just for length, but also because of just the conversations that we have and being able to dive into some stuff.

And, um, this week's show is with Joseph Lamagna.

Now, Joseph works for The Fried Egg, covering professional golf, and we kind of, uh, dive into a, a little bit of, of that and his role there.

Um, but I, I've been a big fan of, of Joseph and the rest of The Fried Egg team for a long time, and we kind of just brought the conversations that we have when we do happen to run into each other at events to this podcast.

It kind of blew my mind when I, when I realized, kind of thinking and taking the time to discuss it and think about it, how much data and the understanding of how to get something out of a performance really affects the way that we, we strategize the game of golf, and I thought it was very interesting.

I, uh, I recorded a pod this morning, uh, that's out on Friday with, uh, Joseph Lamagna and Kevin Van Valckenburgh about, you know, the end of LIV and then this, this tournament that really is born out of LIV coming in.

Like, that, you can trace it back to that, how we got to this Tour Championship that's coming in two years.

I think it was the Friday guys, the boys, right.

PJ Clark and Joseph LaMagna mentioned like the walk-up song being, Hey, something about wanting to get out of here soon.

When I spoke with him at New York, he gave me kind of that little corporate answer like hey what do you think about the investor are you how you feeling good he's like well those guys are working hard garrett they're working hard they're doing their job they must do their job and i'm just a golfer i'm gonna do my job as the golfer and we hear that a lot but i think if if you're coming from a guy with the context of like yeah He seemed antsy to be out of there.

I mean, everything's speculation here.
