So I also like, you know, uh, the movie Gaslight as an illustration of this because in the movie she has to get out of the townhouse that he controls as a controlled environment to understand that it, that what he has caused her to think and the doubts that he has caused in her mind about her own ability to rationally consider things, uh, that the only way that she can begin to, to understand that is to get out of the townhouse, where she runs into another well-known actor in the movie, Joseph Cotten, who says to her, "I think there's something crazy going on in your house." And it's the first time that she's hearing another voice say, "Wait a minute, you think you're crazy.

And in that environment that is controlled by your husband, you have no other conclusion to come to because he won't allow it.

He controls the environment.

This is the answer," and they're reinforcing it all around you, and you're having that kind of peer pressure and peer reinforcement to accept whatever the leader and the group says is the answer is the truth.

Yeah, it reminded me of this one study, I don't know if you've heard of it, where it's like they bring in like five people and they tell everybody, "Okay, here's lengths of straws." And, you know, let's say they're all, like, you know, a foot, and then there's one that's like half a foot.

And they go around, and everyone's an actor except for the last person, and so they say, you know, which one's the longest or which one's the shortest.

And everyone's like, "Oh, they're all the same.

up to you all right so he says i mean It's funny that I'm reading it because his delivery, and we also haven't acknowledged who it is.

I saw, I recently, last Christmas season, I watched a Christmas film called I'll Be Seeing You.

It was Joseph Cotton and Ginger Rogers.
