Joseph Brickey

So we come to the same exact conclusion that this is Joseph, but through different methodologies, which I find fascinating.

And the amount of work and effort that Joseph Brickey and Patrick Bishop have put into this is remarkable.

It really is a labor of love and a stunning amount of work that they have put into it.

Let me share my screen now.

And it's called Brother Joseph, again, from Gray Cofford Books.

But that's because they want to share their research with people, not because they want to get rich.

There's no way that Joseph Brickey is ever going to recoup the amount of time he spent on this project over the last four years to make enough to say, you know, I've gotten rich off of the face or the photograph of Joseph Smith.

He loves the prophet.

At what moment did your team start thinking, "Okay, I think we're gonna change our mind on what this is"?

Yeah, I wish Joseph Brickey could be here.

As you watched the film, you saw that he was the integral part in the whole forensic reconstruction.

And for me, that was the tipping point.

I, I always just, I kept going with it, kept researching, and the day finally came when, um, Dan Larson, who's the great-great-grandson, um, that opened it-

Mm-hmm

... we met, and he showed me the artifact, and then I saw Joseph Brickey's forensic research, and things just completely started to change for me Um, and we found more.

Things kept opening up, and I started to dig in with research.

So again, officially welcome on the show, Patrick.

Patrick. And our other guest is, is Joseph F. Brickey.

Uh, Joseph is an accomplished classical artist who has won multiple international awards in both painting and sculpture.

He received a master of fine arts and sculpture in 2012 from the New York Academy of Art.

Uh, and we'll be giving away tickets on the movie show today at 12:30.

Uh, you can actually go to ksl.com/win right now and enter to win tickets, and we'll give you additional chances to win on the movie show today at 12:30.

Um, I did not think that it was Joseph Smith based on some of the research that I had done.

But when I stepped back from it and then looked at Joseph's body of research and combined it with mine, um-

We're talking Joseph Brickey
