José Ureña

So crazy.

Jose Fernandez was the, uh, ace with Jose Urena.

They were just so deep and they didn't even know it.

David Phelps.

Maybe since Edinson Volquez is no hitter, honestly.

I know that Jose Ureña had a complete game in there somewhere, but really, outside of Sandy, who has dominated like that? Really good stuff from Mayuri to finish out the year on a very high note.

Saturday was a loss, 8-3, but Javier Sanoja hit his 11th home run of the year, finishes the year with a career high in bombs, and his second half was simply spectacular.

Hitting .320, slugging .507, with 25 extra base hits across that month.

Uh, the Mets really never blew this one open.

Uh, Jose Ureña was the, the bulk reliever for the Phillies in this one, and he did a good job keeping them in this game up until they went to their bullpen, and, uh, Karraking was in there.

And Soto takes him deep, and it turns a 3-2 lead into a 6-2 lead for the Mets.

Uh, Hill did get one back off of Nate Lavender to make it 6-3, but you had Lavender come out with a really good eighth.

This was a guy that was pitching for us last year.

Jose Ureña.

This is the guy.

Used to pitch for the Marlins, the Rangers, some of those teams.

The thing is, we were still using Jose Ureña in the beginning of 2025.

So my point is you're always going to have some guys like that that come through the system because you need them to eat innings.

But still...

It was 12 innings of, or yeah, 12 innings of Jose Ureña.
