José Madeira

While Rodrigo st- slowly impressed people, and I think when Pau took, you know, a gamble, I don't know if it's, we can k- can call it a gamble, but when they saw the opportunity they could sign him, they thought they had the, the perfect player to suit their needs of the team.

It's the same thing with José Madeira to Perpignan.

I think they saw José Madeira as, like, a leader that doesn't take too much time to, you know, to find out his whereabouts and to, to... [laughs] He is a excellent tackler.

He does well as a tackler.

And you have Nicolas Martin doing well for, uh, like, Nicolas has been a surprise in, in Racing, uh, uh, because no- you're not, you don't expect him to, to play more than five games in a season for Ra- Racing.

And thankfully, uh, their families say they have to go to university to take a degree, whatever they want, and then take a job.

So un- unfortunately, sport, except football, is seen very, like, it's not a career option.

So a guy like Rodrigo, Manuel Vareiro, José Madeira, Storti, whatever, that came from Portugal to France, for them personally, it's a massive gamble because it goes completely on the opposite direction of what Portuguese society does, uh, thinks about sport.

Hall had a good game, didn't he? Thought he was awesome.

Loved, yeah, loved Jose Madeira was quality.

And the two, well, I'll tell you who was also good was the guy you called out last year, the pro-evo Dimi Mascarenas, Diego Mascarenc, who had a fantastic game in the centres.

And the two guys I love watching.
