José Calderón

some low turnout.

The guy I always think of is Jose Calderon.

When I think of a game manager type player, a guy who isn't going to make a lot of flashy plays, but is not going to lose the game for you as well.

He's going to take care of the basketball, shoot a high percentage, all that.

DeMar DeRozan, Morris Peterson, Vince Carter, Damon Sotomayor, A.C. Earl, John Tabach, Oliver Miller, Sean Respert, Hubert Davis, Antonio Davis, Mugsy Bogues, Dee Brown, Scotty Barnes, R.J. Barrett, Kawhi Leonard.

Emmanuel Quickly, Jamal Shedd, Rod Strickland, damn it, Omar Cook, Jose Calderon, Jamario Moon,

damn it, man, hold on,

Rafael Araujo, Bruno Caboclo, Bebe Nogueira, god damn it, I gotta focus on one team, championship, Jeremy Lin, Norman Powell, Frevin Fleet, um, um, ah, Jordan Lloyd.

So then I'm going to go with Anthony Parker.

That was the starting five.

Then we had Jose Calderon coming off the bench with Rasha Nesterovich.

Juan Dixon was coming off that bench.

The player that was drafted was Ty Jerome, the guard from Virginia, sort of combo guard.

He was described sort of as a mix between Jose Calderon and Grievous Vasquez.

The grades on him were fairly positive, being B plus to B, with the consensus being he has a low ceiling, a high IQ.

He's not that athletic.

I think he is a bigger

Jose Calderon type.

Okay.

Yes.

Shaq led the league in field goal percentage for the 10th time, which was a new NBA record, breaking Wilt Chamberlain's record of nine.

Jose Calderon of the Raptors broke the NBA record for free throw percentage in a season, hitting 98.1% from the charity strike, missing only three free throws of the 154 he took that year.

The record still stands today and is, without a doubt, one of the hardest NBA records to break.

He has not missed this year.

It, it, I thought it said it on the graphic, and then I looked it up and it didn't.

I thought it was José Calderón.

Who averaged 11.5 PPG Cavs 2018 series? Um, I'll go check that.

The player I'm looking for is not LeBron James.

11.4.

But you said I wasn't gonna get this.

I, 'cause I thought it was José Calderón.

[laughs]

They're all the way in Spain.

A new front office member, Jose Calderon, was part of that initiative.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are doing their training camp in Spain.

And I really think that's going to help with the camaraderie and chemistry of this team.
